Spring is coming slowly this year, the ground has a layer of frost again this morning. But that hasn't stopped the prairie chickens from their spring rituals.

This Sunday I will be giving a presentation about Prairie Chickens and Grassland Management for "Ag Day" held at south Wood County Recreation Center, 2711 16th St. Wisconsin Rapids, sponsored by Lincoln High School Ag Department.  If you are in the area, please stop by, the event goes from 8:30 am to 3 pm.  Carl Flaig

We had such a wonderful time at your farm on Saturday morning viewing the chickens. They cam so close to the blind that we got wonderful pictures. You made it so easy for us to see them...thank you. It's the highlight of our spring.

What a wonderful experience we had at your farm viewing the prairie chickens, meadow larks and turkeys. It couldn't have been better. I would recommend your blinds to anyone. Your hospitality and knowledge were fantastic. Thaanks again, Patty & Bill downham and Sandy Pearson
