Spring is coming to our pasture grasslands, as many as 25 male prairie chickens have been seen on the booming grounds.  Most of the snow is now gone, highs have been in the 50's.  Sandhill cranes, killdeer and harriers are now a common site.  A few calves have been born, but the majority will come this year in June.  Even the hens are excited about the spring and giving us 5 dozen eggs a day.  Carl & Carol Flaig

Carl and Carol, thanks for the update! I can't wait to see the birds again this year. It was an amazing show and your blinds are so easy to get to! Vicki
